The purpose of this blog is to offer an insight of my six-week Atlantic crossing on board the traditional German Tall ship Roald Amundsen. I want to provide an experience of what it’s like to sail on this type of vessel and describe some of the challenges and rewards of a transatlantic journey. If you’re interested, I provide you with some information about the ship, a logbook containing my personal experiences during the journey, and valuable resources that can assist you if you’re considering embarking on a journey like this yourself.
